The Plant Your Place Experience

Plant Your Place is the result of a lifelong passion for plants, nature and creative expression and it’s deeply rooted right here in Cairns.

Ben (founder) was born and bred in Cairns, a tropical part of Australia where lush greenery and vibrant life are part of everyday living. His connection with plants started long before the business from growing and eating incredible tropical fruit on the family orchard, to hands on experience in horticulture and plant production at a local wholesale nursery.

Plant Your Place officially sprouted in February 2019, but the roots go back much further, beginning in Kamerunga at The Fruit Bowl, the family’s exotic tropical fruit orchard where Ben and Kristy grew and shared the bounty of the region for years.

From these beginnings came a vision: to bring the beauty, vitality and presence of tropical plants into spaces that matter... events, venues, commercial spaces and galleries in a meaningful and balanced way.
